Most young Australians leave school knowing how to sit exams, but not how to read a pay slip, build a budget, avoid debt or understand why the cost of living keeps rising.

Enrol in the Foundations Series
Module 0 is an introductory course that acts as both an entry point to the Fundamentum platform/curriculum and a summarised version of the Core Curriculum.
Students learn the foundations of money, earning it, organising it, tracking it and using it with intention. We cover budgeting, accounting basics, reading pay slips, decision-making and the psychology of spending and saving.
Inside this module: the psychology behind money habits, the accounting cycle and cash flow, budgeting systems that don’t rely on willpower, and the compounding effect of small financial decisions over time.
Students discover how money grows, how assets and liabilities differ, how investing works and how to build simple portfolios. We focus on compounding, risk, inflation and long-term financial security.
Inside this module: asset classes and how to evaluate them, diversification and portfolio building, liquidity and financial resilience, and how to protect what you’ve built as much as grow it.
Students explore how wealth is created in the real world. They learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, how to identify problems, create value, understand incentives and read economic signals.
Inside this module: how markets and prices actually work, how entrepreneurs spot real problems worth solving, and how to take an idea from value proposition to a working business model.
This module demystifies one of adulthood’s most confusing topics: tax. Students learn how tax works, what deductions mean, how businesses structure themselves and how to make financially intelligent choices within the rules.
Inside this module: why tax exists and how it shapes behaviour, how different income structures (employee, sole trader, company) are taxed differently, and where the legal line sits between smart tax planning and tax evasion.
